This is the opening ceremony of our wedding. We will have live, traditional music and offer the opportunity to get your mehendi (henna) done. Musicians in the family - we’re counting on you to join in the singing and dholak! Our mehendi will be followed by Haldi. This is an important event which is meant to bless the couple. We will both be sat in large urns, and you will all have the opportunity to douse us in flowers, and smear our faces with haldi!

Food: Buffet lunch followed by tea and snacks, to ensure everyone’s tankers are full for the party coming up.
